Identify the employability skills Part II [edit I]

1. Problem solving skills

Problem solving skills are considered as one of the most important employability skills. It is defined as the process of working through details of a problem to reach a solution. Problem solving may include mathematical or systematic operations and can be a gauge of an individual's critical thinking skills.(Business Dictionary, 2014).

This involves being able to offer a solution to a problem by analysing a situation and working out how to arrive at a favourable outcome.  It often involves making optimum use of available resources and enlisting others to achieve an outcome.

You've developed problem solving skills by offering solutions to a specific problem, brainstorming different ways to do things, or discussing outcomes of events with friends or colleagues.
